A Space shaped by Vision
Where architecture reflects a way of being.
River Deli was never meant to be just a venue—it was envisioned as a quiet, communal space that invites pause, presence, and participation. To bring that vision to life, River Deli partnered with Materior Studio, whose sensitivity to form, material, and atmosphere shaped every detail of the space.

Designed to Feel Like Home
Completed in 2024 under the concept “Tiles Again,” the 250-square-meter project reflects Materior Studio’s signature approach: modest, intentional, and deeply human. Located along the banks of Chiang Mai’s Mae Ping River, the design avoids grand gestures in favor of texture, openness, and natural light.

Material That Ages With Grace
The reused tiles, raw surfaces, and soft earth tones allow the building to settle into its surroundings. Every material was selected to embrace time—not resist it—so the space becomes more welcoming as it ages, just like a favorite kitchen or shared family table.

More Than a Look—A Way of Living
The architecture reflects the deli’s ethos: slow gatherings, thoughtful design, and meaningful connection. It doesn’t just house activity—it encourages it. There’s beauty in the restraint, and warmth in the quiet.
