SUMMARY:Chiang Mai Art Connecting (CMAC)
DESCRIPTION:An Ongoing Movement of Art and Exchange \nLaunched in late 2019\, Chiangmai Art Connecting (CMAC) began as an extension of Hanoi Art Connecting\, founded by Trinh Tuan of Asian Art Link (AAL). Initiated by La Luna Gallery as part of its founding vision\, CMAC-I aimed to create a platform for artists across Southeast Asia to explore shared creativity and express complex emotions through visual language—often saying what words cannot. \nIn its inaugural edition\, 19 artists came together\, supported by AAL\, Bluechips Microhouse\, and La Luna Gallery. Workshops and collaborative art-making set the tone for what would become a recurring international initiative. However\, just as the project was gaining momentum\, the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world—and CMAC—to a pause. \nIn September 2020\, amidst ongoing restrictions\, La Luna Gallery hosted “Reconnecting”\, a local exhibition that revived CMAC’s core purpose: fostering human connection through art. The original CMAC-I collection continued to be shown in rotation\, keeping the spirit of exchange alive. \nWith global conditions improving\, CMAC-II returned in 2023 under the theme “How the World Changed After the Pandemic.” This edition welcomed 35 artists from Southeast Asia\, East Asia\, South Asia\, and parts of Europe\, expanding both the scope and impact of the project. Alongside exhibitions\, lacquer painting demonstrations by AAL members deepened CMAC’s commitment to traditional craft and cultural sharing. \nFollowing overwhelmingly positive feedback and increased engagement from artists and visitors alike\, the organizing team—AAL\, Bluechips Microhouse\, La Luna Gallery\, and Art Connecting—announced plans for CMAC-III\, scheduled for November 2025. From this edition forward\, CMAC will adopt a biennial format\, continuing to bring artists together under evolving themes that spark dialogue\, collaboration\, and cross-cultural understanding.

SUMMARY:Phenomenon Art Exhibition by Suparerk Nammontree
DESCRIPTION:Suparerk Nammontree (Kajohn)\, born and raised in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province\, works with painting and photography to explore the emotional ties between memory\, nature\, and place. Much of his inspiration comes from the shifting landscapes along the “Noi” River in his hometown—the still canals\, wide rice fields\, roadside trees\, and everyday rural life that quietly change over time. \nOne of his early works\, Nostalgia\, a large-scale landscape painting created during a year of heavy flooding\, marked the beginning of an ongoing exploration of nature’s unpredictability. From moments of stillness to sudden disruption\, Suparerk became drawn to natural “phenomena”—events that unfold abruptly and leave lasting impressions. \nIn this series\, he moves beyond realism\, using marks\, lines\, and color to express the emotional atmosphere of these moments. His paintings blur the line between clarity and abstraction\, mirroring the way memory works—sometimes vivid\, sometimes uncertain. The result invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences and find meaning in the changing rhythms of nature.

SUMMARY:Transformation: The ever changing Era Solo Exhibition by Rungsak Dokbua
DESCRIPTION:Rungsak’s abstract art carries a distinct identity—one shaped by form\, concept\, and a deep personal connection to the times in which it was created. While the themes shift with cultural and emotional currents\, his style remains unmistakably his own\, evolving over the years without losing its core. \nEach body of work reflects the artist’s response to new ideas\, personal feelings\, and the broader issues that shape public attention. His paintings are rooted in the present\, yet grounded in a lifetime of exploration\, technique\, and commitment to the creative process. \nFor Rungsak\, art-making is a continual rhythm—a way of life shaped by discipline\, curiosity\, and the desire to create work that resonates. This exhibition invites viewers into that process\, encouraging an open dialogue between artist and audience\, where aesthetics are shared\, questioned\, and reimagined without boundaries.
